How to Sync B423 Tracks

Bob423 Tracks can now be automatically updated

Aqua Map has an option to automatically update Bob423 tracks. Once the boater selects the Bob423 tracks he wants for his cruising area, they can be automatically updated when Bob423 issues revisions. Shoaling is continuous on the Atlantic ICW, so it could not only save you time from having to do it manually but also save you from a grounding when an update is issued on short notice and you miss it.

 With the auto-update option selected, no further action is required by you. The Bob423 files you selected will automatically be updated with revised files issued by Bob423 within minutes of availability. If you’re interested, here’s how to set it up:

• Select the bottom right icon  (three horizontal lines) on the home screen to get to Settings
• Scroll down to "Communities" (pictured above)
• Slide the button at "Bob423 tracks from Public folder" to ON (it turns blue)
• Tap the ">" icon to show the next screen below

Select the option you want:

• Synchronized the entire Bob423 Public Folder
• Or select the individual Bob423 tracks you want to sync
• Choose whether or not you want auto-updates

Now you're all set. Your Bob423 tracks will never be out of date. As soon as a new one is published, it's automatically loaded to your copy of Aqua Map. As always, you can individually turn the display of any Bob423 track(s) on or off in Aqua Map but you will always have the latest tracks available.
